Unfortunately I walked out of Silver Surfers at the Palm Beach Plaza with my 8yr old daughter's ear pierced on the wrong angle. One side was fine, the other a mistake where the butterfly wouldn't attach and fell to the floor. A new one was eventually attached. I account for human error. I didn't count on the unprofessional manner in which the situation was then dealt with. I had requested a refund in mind to have the ear re-pierced elsewhere but was instead banned from ever shopping there again. A little more care taken in the procedures of piercing (especially children) would be of benefit. Improvements in communication between staff and communication with customers is essential to avoid this type of disaster repeating in the future.
